Getting to, and getting around UCCMP

The Ullswater
Caravan Camping and Marine Park is situated a half mile off
the A592 road roughly one third of the way down Ullswater.
To get
there follow these directions.
1. From
Penrith : -
· From
the North on the M6 leave at junction 40 roundabout take
the 4th exit A66 signposted Keswick.
· From
the South on the M6 leave at junction 40 roundabout take
the 1st exit A66 signposted Keswick.
· From
the East on the A66 keep on the A66 following signpost to
Keswick, past junction 40 roundabout 2nd exit.
After
junction 40 follow the dual carriage way past the little
chef (on the other side of the carriage way is the Golf Driving
Range) till the next roundabout (1 Kilometer, 3/4 Mile) with
the Rheghed visitor centre beside it.
At this
roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted Ullswater A592. (The
first exit is the Rheghed entrance).
Follow
this road (for 4 1/2 Kilometers, 3 Miles) were you will arrive
at a T junction (Overlooking the Lake Ullswater), turn right
(Left takes you to Pooley Bridge) and continue on the A592
signposted Windermere and Patterdale.

THIS CAREFULLY YOU ARE NEARLY THERE
After
3 Kilometers, (2 Miles) you will GO PAST the Brackenrigg
Inn on your right. Down hill and a 100m/yards after this
is Fairfield Marine on your LEFT, Go past this and further
down the hill.
At the
bottom of this hill on your RIGHT at the telephone box, signpost
for the church, is the turn off for Ullswater Caravan Camping
and Marine Park.
Turn
up here and keep going up hill for 3/4 Kilometer, (1/2 Mile)
till the hill levels out. On your RIGHT is the entrance to
the park, welcome and we hope these directions were a help.
