Hello and Welcome to the Ullswater Caravan Camping and Marine Park.

The same family have been working together to make our customers stay at Ullswater Caravan, Camping and Marine Park a pleasure for over forty years.

Set over-looking Lake Ullswater, this park is quiet and secluded providing all amenities and home comforts the discerning holiday maker would expect. You can do all your washing and ironing (sorry about that), watch TV and there is a games room with pool and arcade games for the children of all ages. This is attached to the private residents bar area. Our bar & entertainment area is open every night during the main season.

Set in the heart of the Ullswater valley come and unwind amidst breathtaking scenery at any time of the year. Ramble through some of the best walking country in Britain (easy access to the Helvelyn range and many more) get out your mountain bike and go off road, use our own secluded private marina to gain access to the stunning Lake Ullswater itself, or simply enjoy the pleasures of the delightful towns and villages dotted throughout the Lake District and Cumbria.

Electric hook ups are available for tourers and trailer tents, along with camping only areas. There is also a merged area where both tents, tourers & caravans can pitch side by side.

Our static caravans and holiday cottages, holiday homes are available to let. The cottages are available all year round the static caravans are available from April till November.

Static caravans can be purchased with a site, providing you with a constantly available retreat from the real world.

From a time of simple camping with not much in the way of home comforts this park is now a quiet secluded park providing all amenities and home comforts.
Unfortunately you can do all your washing and ironing (Sorry about that), watch TV, (No Playstation or Nintendo yet!!) but there is a games room with pool, and arcade games for children of all ages, this is attached to but separate from the bar area.
A bar is open every night during the main season and Friday to Sunday nights all other times from April through to November.
Electric hook ups for tourers and trailer tents, camping only areas and tourer only areas as well as a merged area where both can pitch side by side.
Static vans and holiday cottages are available to let, the cottages are available all year round the static's are available from April till November.
Static's can be purchased with a site providing you with a constantly available retreat from the real world.

And all the Dobinson Family Sail, walk, mountain bike, paint, climb, read, do (or don't do) whatever relaxes you. Ullswater Caravan, Camping and Marine Park is ideally situated to pursue your favourite holiday pastimes. This quiet relaxed retreat is informal and friendly.
Having arrived and booked in you are then free to explore the main Caravan and Camping park. The main park covers 12 secluded Lakeland acres of grass and trees, providing plenty of room for everyone. Also included is access to the lakeside marina, giving you access to your own lake frontage, a mile walk down the hill and then take a stroll by the lake.
The sailing and water sports enthusiast is welcome and well catered for. In its own isolated location, accessed by a private road, is Fairfield marine (it was renamed it to stop tourers going down to the lake by mistake) provides a spacious and pleasant setting for the H2O fanatic. This, Ullswater Caravan, Camping and Marine Parks own, private marina is complete with toilets, showers and a chemical disposal point. Two large jetties plus moorings are accessed via a concrete slipway (A launching service is available).
A Children’s play area, dog walk, bar, shop and cafe are all available on park. The facilities also include laundrette, washers, dryers and iron and ironing board. Plenty of showers and toilets, with hair dryers. Disabled access is provided to the bar, toilets and showers.
Eating out can be done at the near by village of Pooley Bridge (North end of Ullswater), The Brackenrig Inn a mile away, in the village Glenridding (South end of Ullswater), or the towns of Penrith (10 miles), Keswick (14 miles) or Ambleside (20 miles) and all pubs hotels and restaurants between.
With easy access to the lake, the mountains and hills, Ullswater Caravan Camping and Marine Park provides a tranquil escape from everyday life, and when you feel up to it an ideal base from which to explore. Although in the quiet Ullswater valley you will find yourself centrally located to access and enjoy all that Cumbria and the Lake District has to offer.
